The Poinsettia Cup

Brisbane - V - Brisbane North - V - Cunningham - V - Gateway

This one day Fours men's competition is traditionally held on the first Sunday in March.
Hosted by each District in turn.

Junior Bowlers have run a parallel competition since 1995, with Brisbane North holding the Junior Cup eight times, and Gateway five times, in fifeteen years.

2011

This years "Cup" was hosted by Swifts Bowls Club, at Ipswich.

The Gateway Juniors placed third, behind Cunningham and Brisbane North.

2010

This years "Cup" was hosted by Gaythorne Bowls Club, and once again was a very successful outing for the Gateway teams.

The Gateway Men won the day, and the Juniors placed second.

We had a very successful day this year, placing second for the Men, and triumphing with a win for our Juniors.
